ALBERTSON, Edward Conley (Abt. 1917-1982) Keowee Courier July 7, 1982, 
Walhalla--Edward Conley Albertson, 75, of Route 1, Bear Swamp 
Community, died Tuesday at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Oconee 
Count, he was a son of the late Jack D. and Martha Bottoms Albertson. 
A retired employee of Western Auto, he was a merchant, a member of 
Woodmen of the World and Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. Surviving are 
sons, Don Albertson of West Union and Paul Albertson of Greenville; a 
sister, Mrs. Emma Collins of Walhalla; and one great-grandchild. 
Graveside services were at 3 p. m. Thursday at Oconee Memorial Park, 
conducted by Dr. James A. Kirkpatrick and the Revs. Paul Hayes and 
Monroe Jenkins. Davenport Funeral Home was in charge. Contributed by:
