Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Elliott H. and Alice Wilson Lanford, a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Greer where she was a past president of the Baptist Women, and a member of the Faithful Workers Sunday school class. Surviving also are a daughter, Derrolyn Butler of the home; a brother, Harold G. Lanford of Walhalla; sisters, Mrs. A. C. Phillips of Walhalla, Carol Whitmire of Seneca, Mrs. Bruce Cole of Greenville, Mrs. J. B. Tumlin of Gray Court, and Alice Fergurson of Six Mile. Services were Sunday at Riverside Baptist Church with burial in Wood Memorial Park, Greer.
