Born in Oconee County, he was a security guard at Chickasaw Point, a retired merchant and a member of Stump House Holiness Church. Surviving also are a son, Sam F. Albertson, Jr. of Walhalla; a daughter, Linda Williaman of Seneca; a brother, Ed C. Albertson of Walhalla; a sister, Emma Collins of Walhalla; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were Saturday at Davenport Funeral Home with burial in Oconee Memorial Park.
