Nix, died Wednesday. Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Dollie Kelley Poore, a retired employee of Sangamo Electric, and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Billy S. Nix of Clemson, A. Gerald, F. Douglas, and Kenneth E. Nix of Walhalla; sisters, Iola Taylor of West Union, Lois Bibb, Frances Catlett, Evelyn Jones and Rachel Stewart of Seneca, Catherine Blackwell of Pickens and Hazel Broome of Greenvlle, and six grandchildren. Services were Friday at Mountain View Baptist Church with burial in Wolf Stake Baptist Church cemetery. Davenport Funeral Home was in charge.
