Obituary from Anderson Independent Jan 30 1978 Westminster--
Raleigh Nathan RAMEY, 87, of Starr Route, Crossroads No. 2 Community, 
died January 28, 1978, in his home. He was born in Rabun County, Ga., 
a son of the late Leander and Sarah Jane RAMEY RAMEY. He was a retired 
textile employee and owner and operator of RAMEY Corn Mill. He was a 
Baptist. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Anna Lee RAMEY of the home; sons, 
Ed RAMEY of Westminster, Logan and Pate RAMEY of Anderson; daughter, 
Mrs. Estelle RICHEY of Anderson; sisters, Mrs. Essie CARVER of 
Westminster and Mrs. Bessie WILBANKS of Anderson; 15 grandchildren 
and 18 great-grandchildren. Services at 2 p.m. Monday at Holly Springs 
Baptist Church by the Revs. John MCKNIGHT and Alvin CROOKS. Burial in 
the church cemetery. The body is at Sandifer Funeral Home and will be
