Born in Oconee County, a son of the late John and Narcissa Abbott Miller, he was a veteran of World War I and a member of Seneca American Legion Post. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Lola Knox Miller a son Whit Miller of Seneca, two daughters Mrs. Doyle Moon of Hatteville, Ga and Mrs. W. H. Abercrombie of Blytherwood, and brothers L. H. Miller of Clearwater, Fla, a sister Miss Fannie Miller of Seneca seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p. m. at Brown's Funeral Home in Seneca with burial in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
