GRANT, Annie Marshall
Keowee Courier, Walhalla, Oconee Co SC Wed., May 25, 1966 Mrs. Annie 
Marshall Grant, 87, of the South Union Community, died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Virgie Tate, Thursday after a long illness. 
Lifelong resident of Oconee county, daughter of the late W.B. and 
Carrie Patterson Marshall, she was a member of Townville Baptist 
Church. Her husband, W.A. Grant, died in 1945. Surviving in addition 
to Mrs Tate are two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Callaham of Westminster 
and Mrs. Elsie Pettitt of Spartanburg; a sister, Mrs. Will Rousey of 
Anderson; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted 
Saturday at Cross Roads Baptist Church by Rev Roy Thomas and Rev. 
Reginald Hill. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Mark Harris, M.H. Pursley, John Stephens, George Bedenbaugh, L.A.
