Keowee Courier, Walhalla, Oconee Co SC Wed. Aug 10, 1966 Mrs. Pollie 
Viola Patterson Moore, 94, of the Hopewell community, died in Oconee 
Memorial Hospital Sunday after several years of declining health and 
three weeks illness. Lifelong resident of Oconee county, daughter of 
the late Daniel and Arminda Brown Patterson, her husband, John T Moore,
died in 1903. Surviving are two sons, John and Owtis Moore of the 
home; two daughters, Mrs. George Harvell of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. 
P.A. Coleman of Seneca; two grandchildren, and four 
great-grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday at 
Oconee Memorial Park by Rev. Charlie Candler. Pallbearers were Boyd 
Cain, Ed Corbett, Prue Mc Lees, Gene and Rusty Moore, R.B. and Dock
