Her husband, the late I.K. POINTER, died several years ago. She was a member of Chechero Baptist Church. Mrs. POINTER was born in Oconee Co., SC, July 14, 1873 but spent most of her life in Rabun County. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joe RAMEY, of Clayton; four sons, Luther WILBANKS, Effort WILBANKS, both of Anderson, SC, Lonnie SMITH, of Clayton, and Grady SMITH, of Greenville, SC; 42 grandchildren and a number of great and great- great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday from the Chechero Baptist Church. The Rev. Tom HENSLEE and the Rev. Earnest HUNTER will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at R. E. Cannon Funeral Home pending the services.
