She was a native of Transylvania County, N. C., near Lake Toxaway, a daughter of the late Samuel Sanders and Mrs. Mahulda Lowe Sanders. She had lived in Seneca the past six years. Her first husband Samuel McCall, died in 1949. Her second husband, Henry Alexander, died two months ago. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Lila Hall of Brevard, N. C., Mrs. Vera Powe of Seneca, and Mrs. Alexander; 2 sons, Roy McCall and Doyle McCall of Long View, Wash.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Reid, her twin, of Liberty, and Mrs. Lena Lyda of Covington, Ga.; 2 brothers, Sylvania Sanders of Oakland, N. C., and John Sanders of Quebec, N. C.; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Faith Tabernacle in Seneca by Rev. Davie Wilson, Rev. Charles Stinnett and Rev. Theodore Rose. Burial was at Union cemetery near Lake Toxaway, N. C. Pallbearers were Clyde Crumpton, Ray Sanders, L. C. Sanders, Weaver Taylor, Buck McCall, and Cecil Whitmire. Honoray escort was composed of members of the Men's Bible Class of the church. Seneca Mortuary was in charge.
