CONEY, Cleo Frances Knox 
(1911-1960) Keowee Courier April 30, 1960, Former Senecan Succumbs in 
Va. Funeral services for Mrs. Cleo Frances Knox Coney, 49, former 
Seneca resident who died Wednesday in an Arlington, Va. hospital, were 
held from the chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Seneca Saturday. The Rev.
J. P. Stokes conducted the rites, and burial was in Mountain View 
cemetery. Pallbearers: Clifford Burriss, Sam Lowery, Bill Harper, Rex 
Blanton, Allen Jones, and W. R. Ballentine. The escort of honor was 
composed of Jute Price, John Ballenger, Harold Alexander, John Fields, 
Bowen Nimmons, Ches Beaty, Ernest Riely, Calhoun Cox, Buck Price, 
Major Lindsay, Joe Cromer, Tom Gignilliat, G. W. Gignilliat and Clay
