ALBERTSON, Martha Bottoms 
(1876-1957) Keowee Courier March 20, 1957 Mrs. Martha Bottoms 
Albertson, 81, the wife of Jack Albertson, died at her home on West 
Main Street Sunday following several months of declining health. She 
was a life long resident of Oconee County, a daughter of the late 
Perry and Sarah Snider Bottoms and was the last surviving member of 
her immediate family. Mrs. Albertson was a member of Rocky Knoll 
Baptist Church and was active in church work as long as her health 
permitted. Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Ed and Sam
Albertson of West Union; one daughter, Mrs. Sloan Collins of West 
Union; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral 
services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Rocky Knoll Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Carl Raines and the Rev. M. J. Stansell 
officiating. Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park. Pallbearers were 
Grady, Robert and Jay Albertson, Sam Bottoms, John Stewart and Ronnie
