Albertson, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Patton in the Ebenezer Community following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Albertson was born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Mattie and Mart L. Phillips and was a member of the Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. Her husband died in 1950. Three sons and two daughters survive: Robert H. Albertson of Walhalla, J. C. Albertson of Pisgah Forest, NC, James G. Albertson of West Union, Mrs. Dena Thompson of Greenville, and Mrs. George Patton of Seneca; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: also five brothers, A. L. Phillips of Hodges, Clint Phillips of Caldwell, Idaho, Zeke Phillips of Montana, Charles Phillips of Spokane, Washington, and Clem Phillips of Colorado: four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Roach of Walhalla, Mrs. Lillie Thrift of Long Creek, Mrs. Lucy Hamby of Mt. Rest. and Mrs. Eddie Ross of Caldwell, Idaho. Funeral services were held at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church on Tuesday with the Rev. Carl Raines and the Rev. C. G. Wyatt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed, Sam and Dover Albertson, Mart and Dee Harden, Ernest Brewer.
