Walton Coppedge officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Mr. Burleson died Thursday at his residence. Born November 23, 1896, at Bakersville, N.C., he was a son of Joseph John Burleson and Hattie Jane Bidix Burleson, both of Mitchell County, N.C. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U. S. Army and a veteran of World War I and II. He was a member of Sullivan's Island Baptist Church.
