B. Hunt, in High Springs, Fla., the Courier learned this week. Mrs. Harkins succumbed following a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted from the Catholic church there by Father Joseph Tierney of Gainesville, Fla. who offered requiem mass. Mrs. Harkins was a native of Walhalla, the daughter of Jeff and Margaret Todd Browne and the widow of Dennis Harkins. She moved to High Springs in 1935. She was preceded in death by two sons, and is survived by an only daughter, Mrs. Hunt. Also surviving are several grandchildren.
