TITLE: Anna Gaston Hall SOURCE: Keowee Courier SUBMITTED BY: Susan Brock-Booker FORMATTED BY: Kim Grissom, Jun 2003 *********************************************************************** HALL, Anna Gaston (1863-1948) Keowee Courier May 6, 1948 Mrs. Anna Gaston Hall, 84, died at her home in Westminster at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon after an illness of two weeks. She was a lifelong resident of Westminster. Her husband, the late T. N. Hall, died in 1918. Her parents were Hamilton R. and Mary Goodlett Gaston. She is survived by one son, Dr. T. G. Hall of Westminster; three daughters, Miss Mertie Hall of Easley, Miss Bessie Hall and Miss Annie Hall of Westminster, and two grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was a charter member of the Westminster Presbyterian church and was active in the church for a number of years. Funeral services were held from the home in Westminster Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Dr. W. C. Frierson officiated. Burial was in Eastview cemetery. Pallbearers were J. K. Anderson, Arthur Reynolds, B. B. Holcombe, K. M. Johns, Oscar Tuck and W. H. Foster. The honorary escort was composed of officers of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
