BOTTOMS, William Riley 
(1868-1948) Keowee Courier May 6, 1948, William Riley Bottoms, 80, 
died at the Oconee county hospital Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. 
Survivors includen his widow, Mrs. Martha Jane Bottoms, and one son, 
J. C. Bottoms; two daughters, Mrs. J. L. Reece and Mrs. Homer Kelley; 
two sister, Mrs. J. D. Albertson and Mrs. Baxter Roach; 31 
grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 
conducted Monday a 4 p. m. at Corinth Baptist church near Seneca by 
the Rev. J. P. Hatcher, Rev. Parker and the Rev. Francis Whitmire.
