Gillison, died at the home of his brother, Mr. Jay Gillison, in the Bounty Land section last Thursday and his body was buried in the Richland cemetery Saturday, the funeral services being conducted by Dr. W. C. Frierson. He was 77 years old and unmarried. For more than thirty years he was connected with the livestock department of Clemson College. He was a maternal grandson of the late Bluford Burns, whose home was near Nazareth church below Westminster. Besides his brother, Jay, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. D. A. Thornton (Susan) of Hartwell, Ga., and Mrs. C. S. Stribling (Mary) of Seneca. Two brothers and a sister are dead.
