PATTERSON, Julia S. Cole 
Mrs. Julia S Cole Patterson, daughter of N.P. and Elizabeth Cole and 
wife of the late C.W. Patterson, died early Tuesday morning, May 27, 
in the Oconee hospital after three weeks illness. She was born in 
Oconee county March 13, 1871, and lived near Earle's Grove until the 
death of her husband. Since then she made her home in Westminster. 
Mrs. Patterson was a devout Christian and member of the Earle's Grove 
Baptist church. She is survived by one brother, Hilary Cole, two 
sisters, Mrs. Mattie Cole Patterson and Mrs. Fannie Cole Grant, also a 
number of nieces and nephews. The remains were laid to rest in the 
Earle's Grove cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. Tugaloo Tribune,
