Ester Eugenia Cox (1876 to 8-4-1876) Keowee Courier August 12, 1943 
Funeral services for Miss Ester Eugenia Cox, 67, were held from the 
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the 
Rev. M. J. Stansell and Rev. H. A. Whitten officiating. Burial was in 
the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Clarence Cox, Hershell 
Barnett, Ed Cox, Jr., James Cox, Roy McCoy and Furman Cox. She is 
survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. P. McCoy and Mrs. Henry Lee, and two
