G. Vaughn, of Seneca, died after a lingering illness. His wife was Miss Lula Miller, eldest daugher of C. E. Miller of Lavonia, Ga., formerly of Westminster. Mr. Vaughn was known by everybody as "Bush" Vaughn but his right name was Christopher Gardo. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nash Vaughn, lived many years near here where Mr. John Couch and family live at this time. Besides his widow, several children survive. Also one sister, Mrs. Effie Schaffer, of the Ebenezer section. The internemt was in the First Baptist cemetery here, where his parents, one brother, Howard, and one sister, Minnie, are buried. Mr. Vaughn's mother was a daughter of the late Mason Duncan and the sister of Mr. J. M. Duncan, who lives on the Coffee Road. The deceased had reached the age of sixty-one years. Many friends and relatives in this vicinity join in extending sympathy to Mrs. Vaughn and family.
