Cox Dies at Five Forks Home The last rites for Henry Manley Cox, 60 years of age well known Oconee citizen who died at his home in the Five Forks section Friday afternoon following an illness of some length, were held from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Elmer Land in association with the Rev. Henry Blackwell conducted the services, and burial in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were J. A. Cumberlender, Gary Brock, Sloan Duvall, Wade Smith, Luther Carver and C. G. Cothern. Flower girls included Misses Belle Duvall, Mirian Cumberlander, Rosa Lee Smith, Minnie Sullivan, Bessie Brock and Helen Brock. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Savannah Gladys Cox; seven daughters, Mrs. R. A. Carver, Mrs W. T. White, Mrs. Ansel Smith, Misses Clare, Lucille, Louise and Lucy May Cox; four sons, Clarence, Luther, J. L. and Leland Cox.
