The rites were conducted by the Rev. Bruce Littleton, and interment was in the Salem Methodist Church cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Edney are her husband, Doyle Edney, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. McConnell, and three sisters, Mrs. Lester Parham, Misses Lorene and Marjories McConnell; four brothers, Carl, Cecil, Albert and George McConnell and her paternal grandfather, J. C. McConnell.
