Mrs. Marshall was close to 80 years old. She had a pneumonia attack some time ago and had not fully recovered when other complications set in. Mrs. Marshall's maiden name was Patterson, being a half sister of Mr. R.L. Patterson, of Westminster and Mr. Colunbus Patterson of Earle Grove section. Her first husband was William Pitts. She is survived by her husband and five children to whom sympathy is extended. She was member of the Baptist church. Her body was buried at Cross Roads May 25th. Rev. J.H. Alley, assisted by Rev. J.A. Clotfelter, of Townville, conducted the services. The Marshall family live in Barton house at Fair Play.
