Jacob Davis Abbott, Jr. (8-8-1853 to 6-7-1929) Tugaloo Tribune Mr. J. 
Davis Abbott, aged 76 years died Friday and his body was buried 
Saturday afternoon in Coneross cemetery, after funeral services 
conducted by Dr. F. H. Martin. His death was due to heart failure. He 
leaves six daughters and one son, as follows: Miss Grace Abbott, of 
California; Mrs. Ulysis Smith, West Union; Misses Nina, Lena, Thode 
and Florina Abbott, at home and Judge Abbott, only son in Detroit, 
Mich. Mr. Abbott was a member of Coneross church and had many friends 
who regret his death and sympathize with the bereaved. Contributed by:
