M. Adams and family on account of sudden death of her son, Lester William Adams, who was killed last Tuesday at 6 o'clock in Alabama, when he came in contact with an electric wire at a coal mine. The deceased was born Feb. 11, 1892. He had been twice married, his first wife being Miss Lillian McDonald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. McDonald, of this community and his last wife, who with two children, survives, was Miss Martha Hall, of near Westminster. Mr. Adams joined the Baptist Church at Townville at the age of 22 years. Besides his widow and two children, Solon and Lorena Adams, he leaves his widowed mother, Mrs. Lucy Burns Adams and five sisters and two brothers to mourn his tragic death. The remains were interred in the Poplar Springs cemetery Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, funeral services being preformed by the Rev. J. Furman Moore, of Walhalla.
