KNOX, Alice Luella 
(1909-1909) Keowee Courier June 2, 1909, Little Alice Luella Knox, 
infant of James E. Knox, of Easley, died Sunday, May 16th, 1909, aged 
three months and sixteen days. It is hard to give up our loved ones. 
This little one had just lived long enough to twine her little life 
around the hearts of father, sisters, and brothers---especially the 
sister, who for three months had been both mother and sister to her. 
But God knows best, and has reunited this little one with the mother 
who left her for heaven just three months ago. What a happy reunion of 
mother and babe in the better world.
Sleep on, sweet babe.
And take your rest;
God called you home---
He knew 'twas best.
