Mrs. Ivana S. Stowe Mrs. Ivana Smith Stowe 44, of Powell St Ext, 
Seneca died Wednesday in Charlotte, NC after being injured in an 
automobile accident Wednesday afternoon near Lancaster. She was a 
native of Chester, daughter of John Will and Bessie Tomlin Smith, 
with whom she lived in Seneca. She was employed at J.P. Stevens Mohawk 
Plant and attended Full Gospel Temple. Surviving also a son, Sammy 
Stowe of Edgemoor, three brothers, Rothell, Ralph, and U.G. Smith of 
Seneca. Two half-brothers, Clarence E. Smith of Fort Mill and Lawrence 
Montgomery of Chester, two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Vickery and Mrs. 
Jewell Swaney of Seneca and a grandson. Burial in Oconee Memorial
