EATON, Lewis 
(1804-1886) Keowee Courier March 18, 1886, Lewis Eaton, one of the 
oldest and most respected citizens of this county, died on Monday, 
March 15th, of pneumonia. Mr. Eaton was born in 1804, and if he had 
lived until July 22nd, he would have been eighty-two years old. At the
time of his death he was a consistent member of the Walhalla Methodist 
Church. This good and righteous man has gone to reap his reward in and
