Riley * Maxine P. Riley, age 77, of Lewes died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at Harbor Healthcare '&;' Rehabilitation Center in Lewes. Mrs. Riley was born in Swanton, Md., daughter of the late John Quincy Adams Gaster and Elsie Broadwater Gaster. She was formerly employed by the Social Security Administration in Baltimore as a manager. She was a member of the Lewes Senior Center and the Woodlawn Chapter #101, O.E.S., Woodlawn, Pa. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Koch, of Sugarloaf, Pa.; a stepson, James B. Riley Jr. of Columbia, Md.; four sisters, Freda Wilson of Bakersfield, Calif. Virgie Nicoletos of Lewes; Dorcas Louie and Betty J. Louie, both of Oakland, Md.; a brother, John Q. Gaster of Plainfield, N.J.; two granddaughters, Beckie Hazzard and Karen Gibbons; three step grandsons and two great grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband, James B. Riley Sr., in 1984; and two sisters, Anna Ruby and Ethel Smith, both of Pittsburgh, Pa. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, at Parsell Funeral Homes '&;' Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 1449 Kings Highway, Lewes, with Rev. Harry Hughes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Lewes Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 612, Lewes, DE 19958, or to the Delaware Hospice Southern Division, 600 N.
