Mills Sr. * Carlton L. Mills Sr., 58, of Rehoboth Beach and formerly of Wachapreague, Va., died of a heart attack Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at home. Mr. Mills had been an oyster shucker in Chincoteague, Va., before moving to Delaware in 1989, when he first worked for the City of Rehoboth Beach before being employed by Bob Evans Restaurant, Midway. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mills; four brothers, Cleveland Mills of Tampa, Fla., Hilton Mills and William Map, both of Wachapreague and Charlie Mills of Philadelphia; two brothers-in-law, Charlie Pettit of Rehoboth Beach and Jonathan McNair of Millsboro; five sisters, Ruth Mills of Rehoboth Beach, Marlean Thomas of Cincinnati, Oh., Patricia Pettit of Seaford, Ada McNair of Millsboro and Geraldine Nock of Bridgeville; five children, Vicky Grey and two other daughters, all of Philadelphia, Darlean Mills of Virginia and C.J. Mills of Wachapreague; two uncles and aunts, Alfred and Anne Map and Jonny and Christina Map, all of Melfa, Va.; a special friend, Gladys James of Rehoboth Beach; and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, at Grace United Methodist Church, Wachapreague, with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by Cooper and Humbles Funeral Col.
