Bonkowski Jr, 48 MILTON - Francis J. Bonkowski Jr. of Milton died Thursday, March 27, 2003, in Nanticoke Hospital, Seaford. He was 48. Mr. Bonkowski was born in Wilmington, son of Elizabeth (Denney) Bonkowski of Lincoln and the late Francis J. Bonkowski Sr. He was a 1972 graduate of Salesianum School. He worked as a maintenance technician for New Castle County. Mr. Bonkowski was a member of Union 1607, New Castle County, and served as shop steward. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cynthia (Roszel) Bonkowski; two sons, Francis J. Bonkowski III and John C. Bonkowski, both at home; a brother, Michael Bonkowski of Centerville; and three sisters, Patty Freas of New Castle, Judy Fagan of Cape May Courthouse, N.J., and Betsy Hughey of Lincoln. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, Inc., 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Harbeson Cemetery, Harbeson. Curatola of Millville, formerly of Baltimore, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, in Beebe Medical Center. He was 81. Mr. Curatola was a building inspector for the state of Maryland and a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Laura; and a brother, Robert. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bethany Beach, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be private in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro. He was 81. Mr. Lewinsohn was a member of the U.S. Army Band and served in World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a music teacher with the New York City Department of Education. After retirement he was an independent music instructor. Services and burial will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery chapel in Summit. She was 93. Mrs. Napolitano was born and raised in Queens, N.Y., daughter of the late Rasimo Vecchione and Jennie Siricia Vecchione. She had moved to the Camden- Wyoming area in 1993 after the death of her husband, Andrew Napolitano, who died in March 1993. In her early years she had worked as a maker of children's clothing for Bart and Kay Manufacturing in New York, and had later devoted her time as a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Napolitano enjoyed needlework and gardening and will be remembered for the care and attention she gave to the tomatoes she loved growing. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Anne Anaya of Camden, with whom she had lived, Jean Kalish of Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island, N.Y., and Lucy Polis of Bay Shore, Long Island; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was 83. Mrs. Spinka was born May 6, 1919, in Hartly, daughter of the late Charles R. and Jane Abril Bradley. She was a dairy farmer along with her husband for most of their married life. Mrs. Spinka was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dover Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph J. Spinka Sr. She is survived by a son, Rudolph J. Spinka Jr. of Hartly; two sisters, Anna Severson of Kenton and Virginia Bradley of Bowie, Md.; and a brother, Albert L. Bradley of Tevois, Pa. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dover Ward, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Templeville Cemetery, Templeville, Md. Arrangements by Fleegle Helfenbein Funeral Home, P.A., Greensboro, Md. --------------------------------------------------------------- * Horace 'Buddy' Wilkinson, 86 CAMDEN-WYOMING - Horace "Buddy" Wilkinson of Camden-Wyoming died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 86. Mr. Wilkinson was born Oct. 17, 1916, in Hazlettville, son of the late Harry and Delia (Kemp) Wilkinson. He had worked for the highway department for the state of Delaware for 40 years, retiring in 1975. He enjoyed his retired life with traveling, fishing, hunting, especially duck hunting, golfing, year and flower gardening. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of Peoples Church of Dover, a life member of the Camden-Wyoming Fire Co. and founding member of the ambulance squad. He was past president, chief and was recognized with the honor as fireman of the year in 1967. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He also was a former member of Garrisons Lake Golf Club and former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He will be remembered as a loving husband, companion, father and pop pop with a beautiful sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene Wilkinson; a daughter and son- in-law, Judith Ann and Jeff Reed of Dover; two grandsons, Carl Reed of Rehoboth and Mikell Reed of Dover; a granddaughter, Wendy Reed of Dover; a great- grandson, Nikell Reed of Dover; two nieces, Doris Best of Statesboro, Ga., and Joan Thorp of Millsboro; and two great, grand dogs, Luke and Vader. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be noon Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
