He was 76. Mr. Bizier was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Bidderford, Maine, son of the late Leonardis and Merilda Maxeux Bizier. He was a graduate of Florida State University. Mr. Bizier was a supervisor for the Internal Revenue Service, retiring from the Dover and Georgetown offices after 30 years of service. He also worked in the Wilmington, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia offices. He was a veteran of the Korean War, during which he survived the trap at the Chosin Reservoir as a member of the 32nd Infantry Regiment. He then went to serve in Germany, for a total of eight years of service. Mr. Bizier was a member of the Chosin Few Association, past president of the Nanticoke Little League and past president of the Seaford Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Lankford Bizier; two sons, Larry and Don Crosby, both of Seaford; a daughter, Carole Crosby Hornsby of Seaford; a brother, Gerrard Bizier of Boca Raton, Fla.; a sister, Germaine St. Clair of Millsboro; four grandchildren, David and Keith Hornsby, both of Seaford, Cathy Hodges and her husband, Steve, of Bristol, Pa., and Kevin Hornsby and his fiancee, Christine Overton, of Greenwood. Breasure, 83 FRANKFORD - Clinton H. Breasure of Frankford died of natural causes Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. He was 83. Mr. Breasure was born in Whitesville, in south-central Sussex County near the Maryland line, son of the late Clarence and Ola Mae Wilkerson Breasure. He was a farmer and lived most of his life in Omar, outside Frankford. Mr. Breasure was a member of Frankford Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school superintendent for 15 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Donaway Breasure; two daughters, Patricia Helms and Janet Davidson; and a brother, Levin Breasure. He is survived by his second wife, Emma; six sons, Jay Breasure, Wayne Breasure, Gerald Breasure, Jeffrey Breasure, Frank Esham and Harold Esham; a sister, Ruth Tull; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He was 51. Mr. Bulla was born Oct. 24, 1951, in Washington, D.C., son of William Lawrence Bulla Sr. and Barbara Ammann Pope Bulla of Hagerstown. He was raised in Bethesda and Catonsville. He graduated from The Church Farm School (now called The School at Church Farm) in Paoli, Pa., in 1970, followed by four years of electrical school to obtain his journeyman's license. Mr. Bulla was, by turns, an electrician and a shop manager for Seger Glass, Easton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, working with computers, and playing guitar and drums. Mr. Bulla was a Bible study leader; a March for Jesus committee member; a pastor at Refuge Christian Fellowship, Denton; and a Christian bookstore manager with the Christian Literature Crusade, Fort Washington, Pa. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathleen Sullivan Bulla; a son, William Elijah Bulla, and a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Bulla, both of the family home; a brother, Wendell E. Pope Jr. of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; a sister, Beverly A. Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and very gifted with her hands. She loved people. She was 91. Mrs. Grafton was born Dec. 3, 1911, in Dover, daughter of the late Frederick Bell Sr. and Clara Daly Bell. She worked as a hostess/cashier for Kirby and Holloway, retiring in 1982. She had many true and loyal friends with whom she stayed in touch over the years. Mrs. Grafton was a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir for 20 years. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Whaleyville, Md. --------------------------------------------------------------- * Richard Anthony Penfield, 74 MANO, Mo. - Richard Anthony Penfield of Mano died after a brief illness Sunday, March 16, 2003, in his home. He was 74. Mr. Penfield was born June 23, 1928, in Ogdensburg, N.Y., the third of four children of the late Raymond and Ruth Penfield. He attended Ogdensburg schools and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1945 and from St. Mary's Academy in 1946. He also graduated from St. Lawrence State Hospital School of Nursing, Ogdensburg, in 1953, and from Ottawa (Kan.) University in 1977, with a bachelor of arts degree in health-care administration. Mr. Penfield served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1950. He was stationed in Korea as a pharmacist's assistant. He was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Lyons, N.J., as a staff nurse until February 1956, when he enrolled in Lancaster (Pa.) General Hospital School of Anesthesia, from which he graduated in 1957. He worked as a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Miners Memorial Hospital, McDowell, Ky., in 1957 and 1958, and at Marion (Ind.) General Hospital from 1958 to 1961. At that time, he received a commission as a captain in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps. He served at Air Force hospitals in Blytheville, Ark.; Wiesbaden, Germany; Grand Forks, N.D.; Clark Air Base, Philippines; Dover, Del.; and Wichita, Kan. He retired from the Air Force in December 1978 as a lieutenant colonel and worked as a CRNA at Gulfport (Miss.) Memorial Hospital and Gulf Coast Community Hospital, Biloxi, Miss., until retiring in 1989. He and Nancy L. Rothweiler were united in marriage April 24, 1954, at St. Mark's Church, Rahway, N.J. They moved to Mano in 1990, where he enjoyed the beauty of the Ozarks and boating on Table Rock Lake. His hobbies through his working and retirement years were restoring old vehicles, especially his 1985 Cadillac, his joy to behold. He took greet pride in building, as well, and had added several rooms, a barn and a garage to his retirement home. Mr. Penfield was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Shell Knob, and St. Edward's Catholic Church, Cassville, where he served as a Eucharistic minister. He was treasurer of the Eagle Rock, Golden and Mano Fire Department from 1995 to 1997, and had volunteered with the Eagle Rock Community Association's bingo project. In addition to his father, who died in 1956, and his mother, who died in 1990, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Harris, in 1996; and a daughter, Laurie E. Little, in 2001. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in- law, Leigh A. and Richard Penfield of Crofton, Md., Ellen M. and John McDowell of Clayton, Del., and Angela R. Penfield of Maryland Heights; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Cmdr. Jeffrey R. and Loretta Penfield of Lemoore, Calif., and David E. and Susan Penfield of Huntsville, Ala.; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol A. Herzog and the Rt. Rev. Dan Herzog of Albany, N.Y., where the Rt. Rev. Herzog is Episcopal bishop of the Diocese of Albany; a brother and sister-in- law, Raymond C. and Theresa Penfield of Rouses Point, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren, Lindsay McDowell, Leslie McDowell, Jennifer Penfield, Jay Penfield, Scott Penfield, Angela Law, Stephanie Little, Christopher Little, David Penfield, Richard Penfield and Matthew Penfield; a stepgrandson, Wayne Chomitz; another son-in-law, Steven Little of Collins, Miss.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Swift was born June 12, 1930 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edward P. and Jane Whitlock Chance. She was a resident of Cecil County for 15 years, coming from Paoli, Pa. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, where she served on the vestry and on numerous committees, and taught Sunday school. She also was a member of the lower Cecil County Senior Citizens and the M.O.T. Seniors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Royden M. Swift Jr., in 1977. She was active in the community and served on a number of committees and held various organizational positions. She was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church, Milton, and the Methodist Women's Association, Milton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Warner; and her husband, Clinton Wilson Turney. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carrie T. and John Phillos of Georgetown; a son, Stephen E.
