He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a produce buyer and shipper in the Milford area and a truck and car salesman with Webb’s Motors, Milford, for 24 years. He also worked as a salesman for Bolan Motors in Dover. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Alice Johnson Christensen. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford. He was drafted into the military in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He was a garment cutter for years until his health began to fail. Locally survived by two brothers, Anthony and Jeffrey Dickerson, both of Harrington and three uncles, Charles Russ of Dover, Norman Dickerson of Houston and Isaac Perry of Harrington; two aunts, Yvonne Perry of Harrington and Doris Dickerson of Houston and two special friends, Dorothy Smith and Anna Belle Smith, both of Harrington.
