Mrs. Arcidiacono was the daughter of the late James F. Trefney and Anna Gardiner Trefney. She was a trust officer at Delaware Trust Bank for 37 years. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Louis W. Arcidiacono; four sons, James F., Michael, Louis II and Anthony; a daughter, Annette Marcinnzyn; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was 61. Mrs. Christley was born in Rohersville, Md., daughter of the late Maurice and Marie Hines Holder. She was a housewife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Argyle Lee Holder. She is survived by her husband, William John Schmidt Jr.; six sons, Richard L., Nathan L. and Dudley A. She was 88. Mrs. Davis, a lifetime Cecilton resident, was born July 29, 1914, daughter of the late Stanley and Emma Brown McCubbin. She graduated from Goldey Beacom College, Wilmington, Del. She worked for County Banking and Trust in Elkton for 25 years as head teller. Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Stephen's Church and the Lower Cecil County Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll C. Davis, in 1965. She is survived by her cousin, Robert Brown of Cecilton; and two cousins once removed, Myra Brown of Chesapeake City and C.M. She lived in The Netherlands for over 40 years before marrying and moving to the United States. She is survived by her husband, Brian F. Dolan; a brother, Arie W. Mrs. McCann was a member of the Delaware's Business Woman's Association. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Donald J. McCann, in 2002. He was 51. Mr. Tillman was born Jan. 29, 1952 in Shellman, Ga., son of the late Walter Allen Sr. and Cleolar Tillman. He attended public school in Randolph County, Ga. before coming to Delaware in 1972. Mr. Tillman worked for Draper King Cole for many years until the plant closed in 1999. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella R. Tillman and Willie Bell Lightner (Willie James) and two brothers, Willis C. Tillman Jr. (Burlene) and Eddie B. Tillman. Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services, Millsboro. --------------------------------------------------------------- * Emma Jane Wilson, 76 ELLENDALE - Emma Jane Wilson of Ellendale died surrounded by her family Monday, April 7, 2003, in her home. She was 76. Mrs. Wilson was born in Slaughter Neck, daughter of the late Samuel "Goldy" and Mary Ann (Lewes) Coverdale. She was a graduate of Milford High School and the Milford Hospital School of Nursing. After receiving her nursing degree, she moved to California to serve in the Red Cross Cadette Corp by working in the polio wards. She returned to St. Agnes Hospital in Philadelphia to continue her studies as a nurse anesthetist. After completion of her studies, Mrs. Wilson moved Downstate and began working as a nurse at Dover Hospital (now known as Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital). She finally settled in Wilmington and went to work at Emily P. Bissell Hospital in Wilmington as the nursing floor manager, retiring in 1959 after many years of nursing. She was a private duty nurse for many years following her retirement, caring for people of all ages, including her mother and mother-in-law. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her family all over the East Coast from the Smoky Mountains to Maine. Mrs. Wilson was a lifetime member of Berea Presbyterian Church of Hockessin and also attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Stanton before moving to lower Delaware. She served as a commissioner for the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts of the Delmarva Council for many years, acting as the summer camp nurse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wilson, in 1985; two sisters, Alice Sylvester and Florence Wilkins; two brothers-in-law, Donald Wilkins and Alvin (Chum) Wilson; and two children, Harold A. Wilson Jr. and Mary Ann Wilson. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Giroso, with whom she lived; a son, Dave Wilson of Parkersburg, W. Va.; a brother, Samuel Lewes Coverdale of Buena Vista, Ca.; a sister, Gov. Ruth Ann Minner of Milford; five grandchildren, Wendy Jane and Allyssa Mae Giroso, both of Ellendale, Jacqueline Anne and Sarah Nichole Wilson, both of Parkersburg, W. Va., Daniel Eric Swanson of Newark; a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren; and her dear friends, John and Anne Stolfuz and family of Georgetown, Pa., Bonnie Hayslett and family of Smyrna and Donald T.
