She was 77. Mrs. Bennett was born in Houston, daughter of the late Walter and Ada (Willis) Passwaters. She lived in the Milford and Houston areas her entire life. For the past three years, she was a resident of the Milford Center. She worked for Lewes Poultry for many years and for Playtex, before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Layton; and four brothers, Eddie Passwaters, Artie Passwaters, Albert Passwaters and Walter Passwaters. She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Earl J. Bennett Jr. of Milford; two sisters, Betty Gonzales of Houston and Ella Mae King of Lincoln; a sister-in-law and her husband, who cared for her, Alice and Willis Wood; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford. --------------------------------------------------------------- * Vivian Kirby Cuneo, 75 GLASSBORO, N.J. - Vivian Kirby Cuneo of Glassboro died Friday, April 18, 2003, at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Blackwood. She was 75. Mrs. Cuneo was born Aug. 20, 1927, in Chestertown, Md., daughter of the late Charles and Stella Town-send Kirby Sr. In 1946, she moved to Bloomfield, in 1953, to Montclair, and to Glassboro in 1987. She was an active member of the New Jersey Tenants Association in the 1970s, helping to establish a statewide rent-control program. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Antonio G. Cuneo, in 1955; three brothers, James, John and Randolph Kirby; and two sisters, Goldey Pinter and Livinia Kirby. She is survived by two children, Stella Cuneo and Anthony Cuneo, both of Glassboro; two sisters, Louise Cornwell of Chestertown and Alice Perkowski of Belleville; and a brother, Charles Kirby of Cliff City, Md. Davidson Sr., 52 FRANKFORD - Michael A. Davidson Sr. of Frankford died Friday, April 18, 2003. He was 52. Mr. Davidson was a lifelong resident of Frankford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Until his illness, he was the Sussex County supervisor for Tidewater Utilities, Odessa. Mr. Davidson attended Delmarva Evangelistic Church, Salisbury, Md. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tasker and Irene Davidson. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jois M. Dougherty of Felton died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 64. Mr. Dougherty was born April 13, 1939, in Darby, Pa., son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Maloney) Dougherty. He was a baker until his wife, Marlene, became incapacitated with multiple sclerosis. He devoted the next 20 years caring for her, providing comfort and caring until her passing in 2000. During this time, they stayed with her mother and father, Richard and Esther Pepper, who opened their home and their hearts to them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny, who died in childhood. In addition to his father-in-law and mother-in-law, he is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Philip and Jeanette Dougherty of Felton, James and Antoinette Dougherty of Magnolia, and Thomas Dougherty of North Carolina; a sister, Elizabeth Dougherty of New Jersey; and a nephew, Michael Dougherty of Felton. He was 68. Mr. Hawk was born in Wilmington, Del. He attended the University of Delaware, Newark, and graduated in 1960 with a bachelor of arts degree. Mr. Hawk served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956. He worked as a salesman for the National Vulcanized Fiber Co. in the New York-New Jersey area for 40 years. He and his wife had a summer home in Dewey Beach, Del. Mr. Hawk was a member of the Newton Country Club and was a coach for the Rockaway Township Little League. Jubenville of Shortly, near Georgetown, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, in her home. She was 87. Mrs. Jubenville was born in Wolcott, N.Y., daughter of the late James and Cecelia Rich Isaac. She graduated from The Brockport Normal School with a college degree. She taught developmentally disabled children in New Jersey, Illinois and Delaware for many years. Mrs. Jubenville enjoyed many activities, including reading, cooking, traveling, sewing, gardening, playing cards, helping others and spending time with her family. She was a very special person, and her family and friends will greatly miss her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Dr. Charles P. He was 79. Mr. Lloyd was born in Baltimore, son of the late Elsie Mae Lloyd. He was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army's 45th Division as a combat engineer. He worked for the Delmarva Power '&;' Light Co. as a lead lineman for 35 years before retiring in 198l. He particularly enjoyed family gatherings, camping trips and reminiscing about life's special moments. He will always be remembered for his dedication to his family, his lighthearted personality and for pro-viding assistance to those in need. Mr. Lloyd was Past Master of Delmar Lodge 201 of the Ancient Free '&;' Accepted Masons; Past Patron of Adah Chapter 5, Delmar; and Past Associate Guardian of Bethel 6 of the International Order of Job's Daughters. He was also a member of the Past Master's Association of Wicomico County A.F. He was 25. Mr. Reynolds graduated from the University of Delaware in 2000, receiving a degree in physical-education studies. He was employed by Wesley College, Dover, as head men's lacrosse coach and previously taught at St. Mark's High School, Wilmington, where he coached wrestling and was named Delaware State Lacrosse Coach of the Year after taking the Spartans to the Delaware state finals. He began his athletic career at Caesar Rodney High School, Camden, where he was an All-State football, All-State wrestling and All-American lacrosse player. He had been a member of the Rehoboth Beach Patrol since 1996 and was named the 2002 Rehoboth Beach Lifeguard of the Year. Mr. Reynolds lived life to the fullest, with a passion for his family and friends. He touched many lives and will never be forgotten, as he was a wonderful and loving husband, son, brother, friend and colleague. He is survived by his wife, Jenny; his parents, Jim and Jo Ann Reynolds of Dover; four brothers Michael, Doug, Matt and Mark; a sister-in-law, Misty; a godson, Zackary; a niece, Baylee; his maternal grand-mother, Anna Maria Rohloff; and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marian Reynolds. She was a graduate of the Milford Memorial School of Nursing. She worked many years as a registered nurse for Milford Memorial Hospital, Beebe Medical Center and Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, Fla. After retiring from nursing, she attended and graduated from Liberty Bible College in 1981. She worked as a church secretary for Liberty Church North East, Pensacola, with her husband, the Rev. Carl G. Vin-cent Sr., who served as pastor. Together, they traveled and did missionary work in Russia for seven years. She counseled many young married Russian women during their stay. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. She was an avid correspondent, sending many cards and letters to family and friends. Mrs. Vincent was a member of Eagles Nest Fellowship Church, Milton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Cash and Gene Cash. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Carl G. Vincent Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl G. 'Bob' Wise, 70 KENT, Ohio - Robert C "Bob" Wise of Kent died peacefully in his sleep, Friday, April 18, 2003, in his home. He was 70. Mr. Wise was born in Akron, son of the late William and Thelma Wise. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a graduate of Kent State University. Following graduation, he built spacesuits at B.F. Goodrich Co. from 1959 to 1965. He then moved to Delaware with ILC Dover, where he worked for 30 years to continue his career in the space industry working with Apollo, Sky Lab, the shuttle and the Mars Lander, to name a few. Mr. Wise retired in 1996 and returned to Akron to pursue his hobbies of hunting, fishing and golf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Wise; a son, David Wise; and his stepfather, Arthur Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hagenbaugh; a son, William Wise of Dover, Del.; five stepchildren and their spouses, Jack and Mary Hagenbaugh of Euclid, Dan Hagenbaugh and David and Cris Hagenbaugh, all of Akron, Linda and Dan Schuler of Avon, and Mark and Debi Hagenbaugh of Akron; 16 grandchildren, Katelynn, Robert, Christina, Laura, Patrick, Andrea, David Jr., Rachel, Kristen, Matthew, Lindsay, Laney, Megan, Meagan, Christopher and Eric; a sister and her husband, Judy and Robert Erdos of Bedford; and many additional loving family members and friends.
