Woodruff County News, Thursday May 23,1901...Vol 1  No.8;

Linda Hiler, beloved wife of John Hiler, died at their home on Saturday, 
May 18,1901. She was buried at Odd Fellow's cemetery west of Deview last 
Sunday, services being conducted by Rev. C.M. James. Mrs. Hiler was born 
in St.Francies County, Ark, in 1852, being 49 years;
of age at her death. In January 1901 she moved to Woodruff Co. 
August 27,1890 she married John Hiler her second husband. In 1893 she 
united with the Baptist church and and has been a faithful member since 
that time. She leaves to mourn for her demise, one son and one daughter, 
by her first husband and a devoted husband. The News condoles with the 
bereaved.
