LAWRENCE SIDNEY YOUNG

Lawrence Sidney Young, 73, of Judsonia died today, March 19, 1997. Born
November 2, 1923, in Fort Madison, Iowa, he was the son of Charles Lyman and
Bertha Doty Young. He was a plant supervisor with Tharp Brothers Egg
Processing Plant and a World War II Vetern.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Faye Young; eight sons, Jim Young, Edward
Hendrix, Maurice Hendrix, and Boyce Hendrix of Searcy, Royce Hendrix of
Midwest City, Oklahoma, John Hendrix of Pangburn, and Larry Young Of
Jonesboro; five daughters, Sharon McCullom and Rachelle Mellor of Kansas
City, Missouri, Lila Snyder of Oklahoma City, Martha Ham of Eufaula,
Oklahoma and Lisa Clark of Pangburn; two brothers, Albert Young and Doren
Young of Illinois; one sister, Betty Archer of Washington; 48 grandchildren,
37 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at Philadelphia
Cemetery in Pangburn by McEuen-DeWitt Funeral Home. Visitation will be
Thursday from 5-9.
