(Tuck) Pearrow, 60, of Bald Knob, a former mayor, died Saturday. Pearrow was a retired merchant, farmer and Realtor. He served two terms as Bald Knob mayor. He was a Baptist, a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, a Disabled American Veteran, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Pearrow was a veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals for heroic duty, saving his commanding officer. The medals were awarded to him by the late President Franklin Roosevelt. Survivors are his wife, Lucille Brashears Pearrow, three sons, Sammy, Charles and Robert Pearrow, all of Bald Knob; a daughter, Miss Karen Pearrow of Bald Knob; four brothers, Clayhton of Gravel Ridge, Wesley and Marvin, both of Bald Knob, and H. C. Pearrow of Judsonia; a sister, Mrs Nyda Jones of Bald Knob, and eight grandchildren. Funeral will be a 2 P.M. Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the White County Christian Academy. JOSEPH CLARENCE PEARROW Joseph Clarence Pearrow, 74, of Searcy died Wednesday, September 21, 1988. Born February 6, 1914, in Bald Knob, he was the son of William Clark and Maude Lee Trull Pearrow. He was a retired welder-fitter with Pipe Manufacturing, a Baptist and a member of the Masonic Lodge #1031 AF.AM of Texas. Survivors include his wife, Martha Hill Pearrow; one daughter, Rosetta Duckworth of Searcy; three brothers, Raymond of Phoenix City, AL, William of Salem, and Fritz Pearrow of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters, Edna Holokan of Baton Rouge,LA, Bernice Foreman of Odessa, TX, and Mildred Mutton of Peoria, IL; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 22, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church at Pangburn. Burial will be in Henderson Cemetery by Roller Daniel Funeral Home. MARTHA ELIZABETH PEARROW Martha Elizabeth Pearrow, 67, of Searcy died Thursday, June 15, 1989. Born December 24, 1921, in Mullberry, she was the daughter of Emmett and Leathel Davis Hill. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include one daughter, Rosetta Duckworth of Searcy; two brothers, Emmett Hill, Jr. of Pangburn and Charles Hill of Searcy; five sisters, Wencie Smith of Black Rock, Tapsey Cox of Walnut Ridge, Sarah Heriott of Clover Bend, Geneva Reed of Truman, and Ruby Bell of Illinois; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pearrow. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Pangburn. Burial will be in Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn by Roller Daniel Funeral Home.
