Heart Attack Fatal to Glenn Estes
    Glenn Dale Estes, 61, of Wyman Road, Fayetteville, a long-time Arkansas 
aviation figure, died Thursday after suffering a heart attack at Drake Field 
where he was an executive with Scheduled Skyways.
    He was born Nov. 7, 1911 at Weleetka, Okla., the son of Kirby C. and 
Reola Jamison Estes.  A career employe of the Federal Aviation Administration, 
he served as first chief of the FAA Flight Service Station at Drake Field, a 
post he held until his retirement from federal service.
    Following his retirement, he joined Scheduled Skyways and its companion 
Fayetteville Flying Service and served with the two operations until his death.
    He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Anne Blake Estes of the home; two sons, 
Glenn (Buddy) Jr., of the home and Kirby Estes of Fayetteville; one daughter, 
Mrs. Marianne Vasquez of Fayetteville; one brother, John B. Estes of San 
Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Helen Daniels of Broken Arrow, Okla. and 
six grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Moore's Chapel with burial 
in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
