Johnson, aged 74, retired farmer of Biggers, died at his home Friday morning following an illness of several months. He was born in Middlebrook, March 6, 1881, son of the late Henry and Frances Devault Johnson and had lived in Biggers since 1918. He married Etta Arizona Gamble(should be Gamel) in 1908 and they were the parents of three children all of whom survive. He was baptized into the Methodist church at Old Siloam in 1900 and had lived a consistent Christian life since. Funeral services were conducted at the Biggers Methodist Church at 2 pm Sunday, by the Rev. Kenneth Renfroe, paster. Interment was in the Hite Cemetery under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. He leaves his wife, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Glenna Osborn of Lockwood, Mo.; two sons, Segal of Oklahoma City and Seburn of Pocahontas; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, adn 2 sisters.
