   Mrs. E. Patterson Steele, Little Rock Resident
Mrs. Mary E. Patterson Steele, aged 84, of 1415 Center Street, died
Saturday at her home.  Mrs. Steele was the widow of Thomas W. Steele,
planter at Scott.  A native of Brownsville, Tennessee, she was a member
of the First Methodist Church, the Elizabeth Remmel Bible Class, the
WCTU, the Memorial Chapter of the UDC, and the DAR.
   Survivors are a son, Thomas W. Steele, Jr. of Scott; two daughters, 
Mrs. Bruce Ellis of Little Rock, and Mrs A. H. Craig of Scott; seven
grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  
   Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Healey & Roth Chapel by 
Dr. C. M. Reeves and Dr. Aubrey G. Walton.  Pallbearers will be Tom 
Steele Ellis, Alfred H. Craig Jr., William E. Craig, H. B. Allis, A. J. 
Graves and Ernest R. Templeton.
   Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.  The family requests no flowers.
