Obituary of Allen Columbus Johnson (1896-1966), Arkansas Gazette,
Thursday, April 28, 1966, p. 10b
   Allen C. Johnson, aged 69, of 5923 Fourche Dame Pike, a retired
carpenter, died Wednesday.  He was a member of Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Georgia May Dotson Johnson; three sons,
Edward Lee Johnson of DeWitt, Carl Johnson of Little Rock and Rev.
Hoyette Johnson of Maltboro, N.H.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Wallace of
Little Rock; two foster daughters, Mrs. Peggy Webb of Bell Garden, 
Cal., and Mrs. Mary Hanson of Little Rock; a brother, P.L. Johnson of 
Houston, TX; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Jacoway and Mrs. Lucille Hewett 
of Little Rock, and Mrs. Liddie Foiles of Hot Springs; 10 grandchildren 
and seven great-grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements will be announced 
by Griffin-Leggett.

note: Mrs. Peggy Webb should be Peggy Red. Mrs. Lucille Hewett should 
be Huitt .
