Johnson Jacoway, 65, of 1409 Wolfe Street, retired chief operator of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., and wife of Howard H. Jacoway, died Tuesday. Mrs. Jacoway was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Bethany Sunday School Class, Telephone Pioneers of America, past president of Little Rock Life Membership Club of the Pioneers. Others surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John J. Hurley of Conway;two sisters, Mrs. Lucile Huitt of Little Rock, and Mrs. Woodson Foiles of North Little Rock, and two grand children. Funeral was today at Drummond Funeral Home by Rev.Otto Teague and Rev. Edward Harris. Burial was in Forest Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers were N.J. Bass, R. P. Miller, Minor Davis, R.E. Lewis, J.W. Streight and Bill Durham. Honorary pallbearers were Little Rock Life Members of Telephone Pioneers Club.
