Jacoway, 83, of North Little Rock died Saturday. Mr. Jacoway, a retired rating board specialist for the Veteran Administration Regional Office at Little Rock, was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Ambassador Sunday school class of First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock. An avid sportsman, Mr. Jacoway lived for a number of years at Hot Springs after his retirement. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Association of Retired Persons. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Jacoway of North Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Hurley of Conway; two stepdaughters, Nancy Louise Rutherford of Cabot and Norma Ann Clifford of Salisbury, Md.; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Owens Funeral Home by Dr. Ben Jordan and the Rev. Stephen Douglas. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock.
