She was a native of Pope County, widow of Arthur Chronister, daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Margaret Diehl Beal, and was a member of the Baptist Church and Russellville Extension Homemakers. She was a former lunchroom employee of the Russellville Schools. Survivors include two sons, Arthur G. Chronister of Bremerton, Wash., and James W. Chronister of Russellville; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Loveless of Houston, Texas and Miss Edna Beal of Russellville; a grandchild, W. M. Chronister of U. S. Army stationed in Germany; two great-grandchildren; a nephew Charles Loveless of California and a niece, Mrs. Okla Loveless of Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gardner Chapel by the Rev. Franklin Chesnut and the Rev. John B. Hays. Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery at Moreland by Gardner Funeral Service. Pallbearers: Active---Weldon Stratton, Bill Sweeden, R. B. Hays, C. L. Richardson, Herbert Standridge, Lelus Cochran, John Ketcherside Jr. and Mignon Motley.
