HOLLOWELL Funeral services for Wayland G. Hollowell, 82, former Helena resident, will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Citizens Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Hammond will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hollowell was born in Cooperville, Texas and died Thursday morning in Forrest City where he had made his home for the past two years. He was a Baptist, a member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Phillips County Shrine Club, and a member of the Scottish Rite of Little Rock. He was a retired merchant. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise B. Hollowell of Forrest City; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Houser of Forrest City; two sons, Robert B. Hollowell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dean Hollowell of Forrest City; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Active pallbeares will be Irvin Brown, Charles Bucklew, Jess Holliman, Bobby Darnell, Warren Crisp, N. L. Barber and Lee Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. H. Barrow, Dr. E. M. Collins, Harry McCarty and H. L. Free Citizens will direct.
