Michael Gradus February 13, 1997 unknown newspaper

HELENA -- Michael Gradus of Helena died Tuesday Feb. 11, 1997
Mr. Gradus, 82, was a native of Warsaw, Poland. During WWII, Mr. Gradus
was a member of the Polish Freedom Fighters, was captured and interned 
in Switzerland and escaped to Paris, where he met his future wife, 
Marjorie.
He came to Arkansas after World War II ended, where he was a cotton
merchant for over 50 years.
