				DAVID A. SNELL

    David A. Snell, aged 78, a lifelong resident of Nevada County, died
Wednesday, February 2nd at his home in Emmet. He was a charter member of
the Emmet Methodist Chruch.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Caroline Snell; a son John E. Snell,
Portland Oregon; three daughters, Mrs J. C. Randolph, Ft. Worth, Texas,
Mrs. David Washburn of Cincinnatti, Ohio, and Mrs. Harry Hawthorne of
Hope .    
    Funeral services were conducted Friday, February 4 at Emmet Methodist
Chruch by Rev. Joe Hunter and Rev Virgil Keeley. Burial was at Snell
Cemetery at Emmet by Herndon-Cornelius Funeral Service.
