Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Smithson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery, near New Boston, Texas. Mr. Bruce was born March 29, 1905, in New Boston and had lived in Fouke since 1934, moving from Texarkana. He was a retired farmer and logger and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include four sons, Arthur Lee Bruce of Fouke, David Bruce of Malvern, Ark., Robert Bruce of Hertford, N. C. and Bill Bruce of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Agnes Stienrucken of Houston and Willie Mae Tidwell of Willard, N.C.; three sisters, Beadie Rogers of New Boston, Bessie Colvin of Fouke, and Mary Guthrie of Big Cagin, Okla., 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
